Usesful Japanese 1

Today, I'm going to tell you guys how to say "Hello" in Japanese
When you meet a person during daytime, you can use this word, "Kon-nichi-wa."

Japanese people love to shorten words, so you may hear people use words like,
"Chiwa", "Konchiwa", "Chiwassu."
But these sound kind of stupid, so be careful using them.

At morning, people say "Ohayou."
This is "good morning."
When you say this to teachers, older people, or people who you don't really know about, you better use "Ohayou-gozaimasu."
This shows your respect towards a person.

And, when you see people at night time, you say "Kon-ban-wa."
This means "Good evening" and if you want to say "good night" before you or a person go to bed, you say "Oyasumi-nasai."
This is like,"have a nice sleep."

These are very useful Japanese to remember.
If you have a Japanese friend, try use it

Hi!
I'm going to tell you about basic information about Japan today

Japan is one of Asian countries as you guys know, and people speak Japanese, which is spoken only in Japan.

There are 47 prefectures(that are kind of like states) in Japan.

There are about 128,100,000 people in Japan..a country that is a really small island. ∑゚∀゚ Wow

The capital is Tokyo, and there are also some big cities like Osaka, Aichi.

Japanese national anthem is called "Kimi-Ga-Yo".
Here is the song. (this movie is little bit creepy though..)

Japanese money is "Yen." (but it is pronounced "En")

There is an emperor and a royal family in Japan.

I put some random information that I came up with.
It may misses some important things, so if you find some, please let me know

These are not so fun to talk about, but from next time, I'm going to talk more about pop culture, or people.
I know you guys want to hear about Anime or fashion stuff
